A revolution is a struggle to the death between the future and the past.
They talk about the failure of socialism but where is the success of capitalism in Africa, Asia and Latin America?
I find capitalism repugnant. It is filthy, it is gross, it is alienating... because it causes war, hypocrisy and competition.
The revolution is a dictatorship of the exploited against the exploiters.
I think that a man should not live beyond the age when he begins to deteriorate, when the flame that lighted the brightest moment of his life has weakened..
FIDEL RUZ CASTRO ‘ALEJANDRO’
- THE GREATEST REVOLUTIONARY IN HUMAN HISTORY PASSES ON @ 90!
Comrade ABIODUN AREMU @ 09.32am, November 26, 2016
The call came from the SOUL of ACIS (Amilcar Cabral Ideological School) - our Companera Yeye Abiola Dabiri @ about 6.50am - "check d other side" & I did in a flash because such a "password" has emphatic meaning - "FIDEL passed on". Immediately, I put a call through to the Cuban Embassy in Nigeria, and Companera Miriam - the Deputy Ambassador, in an emotional voice confirmed the news that was already trending across the world.
The news hit me - at last Fidel transits to the World of our Mayibuye Africa and Latin-America Ancestors. I tried to Imagine Bob Nesta Marley, Miriam Makeba and Fela Abami Eda Anikulapo rolling out their instruments for a Commanding Performance to welcome the Greatest Commandante in Human history to their new abode!
Fidel - the Revolutionary Commandante who survived over 600 assassination plots by the US-CIA, the Fidel who the Black army officer on July 28, 1953 saved his life by restraining his murderous colleagues from shooting with the persistence "You can't kill ideas".
I mourn and celebrate the Fidel that inspire and will continue to fire my revolutionary imagination. I adore Commandante Fidel because in Him is contained an eternal embodiment of Humanity. My Facebook profile from inception is the Historic meeting picture of Fidel and Malcolm X in 1959 @ the Hotel Theresa Harlem in USA.
My eternal inspirational words come from Fidel - "What difference does it makes the danger to a person or a people or the sacrifices they make when what is at stake is the Destiny of Humanity"!
AND Behold the Feat of the Greatest Commandante - He chooses exactly 60 years - November 26, 2016 of the launching of the Cuban Revolution Guerrilla warfare to transit. It was on November 25, 1956 that Fidel, Almeida, Camilo, Che Guevara, Raul Castro, and 77 others left the Mexican port for Cuba on board of a Cabin Cruiser known as the "Granma" to launch the armed struggle against the Batista dictatorship in Cuba.
Commandante Fidel transits with another Special Trait of His Life - Fidel was born in 1926, he was 26 when he led the Moncada attack against the dictatorship on July 26, 1953, the Guerrilla expedition was launched on November 25, 1956 and he transits on November 26, 2016!
FIDEL LIVES FOREVER FOR SOLIALISM! FIDEL LIVES FOR THE REVOLUTION!!
On 1st January 1954, writing from Prison, Commandante Fidel "Alejandro" summed up his revolutionary life - "I understood the real situation right from the start. I formulated my obligations and carried them out, never doubting for a second - not even on those occasions when I seemed to be absolutely alone. There is nothing greater than the stubbornness of one who believes in his ideas and his truth. He is invincible and all the power on earth is of no avail against him. With a kind of joy, I see the first fruits in the form of truths that have no possible reply".
WHITHER AFRICA WITHOUT FIDEL! AWAKE THE PAN-AFRICAN WORLD TO THE IDEAS & SACRIFICES OF FIDEL & THE CUBAN REVOLUTION!!
The FACT of the decisive intervention of over 300,000 Cubans in the liberation of Southern African countries of Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa; and the solidarity of the Cuban revolution for liberation struggles in Algeria, Republic of Congo of Lumumba, Congo Libreville, Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde of Amilcar Cabral, and Ethiopia, and the continuing Cuban educational, medical, professional and technical support across Africa and Latin America, including Nigeria, attest to the Greatness of Fidel and his invaluable impact on the global Humanity.
As we prepare to confront the new global challenge of living with the US Donald Trump, who emerged as the new champion of White supremacist paradigm, the global African community must be guided by what Commandante Fidel said was the motivation of the Cuban revolution solidarity with Africa – “Those who once enslaved men and women and sent them to the Americas perhaps never imagined that one of those peoples who received the slaves would one day send their fighters to struggle for freedom in Africa”.
Viva Fidel! Viva the Cuban Revolution!! Viva Socialism!!!
